nurl

"Nurl" stands for "Not a URL". http://nurl.org serves as a root for URIs used in the semantic web to denote things other than web resources - things such as physical or mathematical objects. Some of these URIs may resolve to web pages as well (usually documentation), but this does not affect their primary intended denotation.
